QStacks.com is an online community where users can ask questions as well as give answers to the asked questions. However, not a big question/answer community like Yahoo Answers or Wiki Answers, this site sill has something unique that stopped me by to have a look on it.
Well, here is what I analyzed while browsing around the different menus and categories given on this website.
General Information
Presently, the website is powered by Skynet 2.0, a firm which invests on unique internet ventures. However, the founder of this is website a technology expert named Musthafa Ullal from the Mangalore, India. It has been established for answering your queries with the apt answers regarding different topics.
What QStacks.com has to Offer
While observing through surface it looks like a general question/answer platform; established recently with a small user base. But when I had a deep look, I found some interesting things here. Let’s see what it has for its users:
Categories
In particular, the site seems to tend more towards tech stuffs; well, the administrators are from tech field therefore it’s obvious, although, there is a General category too if you wish browsing through the stuffs not related to tech. Here are the categories they have:
- General
- Gadgets
- Social Media
- Web Designing and Programming
- Computers and Networking
- Gaming
Voting
A good thing that makes the platform a better place to stay – as a registered user, you have the choice to vote up or vote down any particular question or answer. It keeps the community more frank and spam free.
Tags
Another option, I would like to see on community platforms. Most of the fresh sites miss it but here it is present. Having tags on the questions gives it wider visibility through search engines hence more possibilities that someone, who isn’t in the community, could find and answer your query.
Rewards
Well, the most interesting part which can trigger the interest of users for actively taking part in the discussions; they are offering cash rewards of $50 and $20 to two Users of the Month apart from the point rewards. For answering a question you get points and I think by this way they choose the User of the Month. If you are looking for an online earning resource, then you can also work with them by answering user questions and editing the answers, comments and questions. Head over to the Jobs section of QStacks.com.
Moderation Level
So far, site seems enough fair and there are no out of the topic or spammy stuffs. It seems that moderators are doing their job well. I am impressed with their clean moderation system. As per their “About US”, they have enough moderators to filter the unwanted things out.
Design and Navigation
A clean and clear navigation system with FAQ and a Blog! Navigation looks so nice with just one tire menu and you don’t have to find something in deep. Everything is before you and you can browse through the site very easily.
Overall, it’s a quite good question/answer community which is following high standards. I hope within the course of time it will gain more popularity and wide user base. It’s in starting phase and the initiative is appealing for the curious internet users.
